"We use banners on the museum and large banners hung on
the Roanoke City Market (banners spanning a street). We usually
run print ads in the local monthly arts magazine and 1-2 ads
in the newspaper. We also do posters, flyers and restaurant table
cards."
Rebecca produces the pyramid-shaped table cards on a computer
in-house, using a template she designed through trial and error.
She prints them out on card stock, then folds and glues them.
The finished cards are distributed to six participating downtown
restaurants about two weeks before each special event. Rebecca
says she had no problem at all getting restaurants to agree to
display them on their tables. And she says about the cards, "They
sure do get the word out!"
